Start-up Project | UCLL

What is a Start-up Project?

A Start-up project focuses on entrepreneurship. On the one hand, we introduce you to intrapreneurship. During 2 days a week, you complete an internship within a company or start-up and work on a predefined project.  On the other hand, you will actually become an independent entrepreneur. Together with your team, you set up your own start-up that you work on for 3 days a week.

What is your role as an entrepreneur?

Intrapreneur

You choose an organisation for which you are the right person to work on a real business problem or challenge from your undergraduate background or interest.

  • Expert and knowledge source: you have specialist knowledge that is not available in the organisation or that is limited in scope.
  • Researcher and problem solver: you investigate a problem and devise an appropriate solution to it.
Entrepreneur

You conduct extensive market research, financial and stakeholder analyses and write your own business plan. Afterwards, you bring your idea to life and your start-up goes live.

  • Innovative product or service: you launch a new product or service or improve a concept that already exists.
  • Pop-up store: you temporarily open a shop, a catering establishment, ... Let your creativity run wild!
