Quality assurance
UCLL University of Applied Sciences is known for the quality of its programmes. We want to make sure that our students have the best opportunities on the labour market.
That is why we take pride in ensuring the quality of our various programmes, systematically working according to the PDCA cycle (PLAN-DO-CHECK-ACT) and putting appreciation, inspiration, reflection and activation first.
UCLL's quality assurance system comprises the following elements:
Each programme relies on a policy plan that sets out the main policy priorities and actions: this policy plan is drawn up after a thorough analysis and in coordination with internal and external peers in a so-called dialogue committee.
At least once a year, the programme checks the level of implementation of the policy plan and adjusts the plan accordingly, if necessary. The programme discusses follow-up of the policy plan, the follow-up of arrangements made and the classification of the programme in a growth model based on the MM DNA/quality characteristics, during an internal coordination meeting, and a management meeting involving independent external parties and an alumni. After the management meeting the management committee takes a decision on the quality of the programme.
Each programme runs a thematic quality control process and performs an analysis which is reviewed by (internal and external) experts in order to continue developing this thematic process.
Consult the quality sheet of the programme on the study programme page.
